SX 26 SE LISKEARD RURAL

II

House and reset arch. Probably C17, front remodelled in mid C19. Rubblestone slate hung on west hipped end and on south front. Slate roof with gable end on right and hipped end on left. Rear projecting wing and staircase projection with gable ends. Rubblestone stack on right-hand gable end and 2 rendered brick shafts to rear lateral stacks incorporated in later outshut. Probably 2 room plan with later rear wing, and stair turret and lateral stack incorporated in later rear outshut. 2 storeys, regular 4 window south front with modern casements. 2, 3 and 4-light C19 casements with glazing bars to rear. Rubblestone wall continues to west from left hand hipped end. Reset granite arch in rectangular surround. 3-centred arch with moulded jambs and stops. Incised spandrels. Surmounted by 2 reset granite ball finial. Interior not inspected.
