Description

The cross located approximately 3 metres southeast of the Church of St Erth is a pre-Conquest structure. It is made of granite and features a monolithic wheelhead design with the truncated remains of a shaft set into a roughly-hewn granite base. The cross is notable for being pierced through the foils of a quatrefoil rose. On the west face, there is a relief depicting the crucifixion, while the opposite face displays a cross formed by domed bosses.
