Description

The Millbrook War Memorial is located to the east of the Church of All Saints in Millbrook. It is made of rough-hewn Cornish granite and features a wheel-head cross with a tapering shaft. The memorial stands on a two-stepped plinth, where the top plinth is trapezoid in shape and the lower plinth is square. This plinth is set upon a square two-stepped base.

The top step of the plinth has lead lettering on recessed polished panels that reads: "ERECTED BY THE PARISHIONERS OF/ MILLBROOK TO THE MEMORY OF THOSE/ WHO FELL OR DIED THROUGH THE GREAT WAR/ 1914 – 1918/ NAVY/ (NAMES)." The other faces of the plinth are inscribed with names organized by the branch of the armed forces served in. The bottom tier of the plinth is inscribed with "1939 – 1945/ (NAMES)," and additional names are also inscribed on the other faces.
