Description
This is a lettered stone post, likely a milepost, dating from the 18th century. It is made of dressed granite, has a square section, and stands approximately one metre high. The post is set diagonally to the drive leading to Rosewarne Home Farm. It features raised lettering in sunk panels at the top of the left and right sides, indicating "14 24 P L," where "P" probably refers to Penzance, while "L" remains unidentified. This milepost is similar to another located at East End, Redruth.
