Description
Tyacks Coach Bar, formerly known as The Unicorn Hotel, is a public house located on Church Street in Camborne. It is likely from the 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century and later. The building is constructed of stucco, probably over granite rubble, and features a slate roof. It has a long rectangular shape, although the internal layout has been modified. The structure is two storeys high and originally had five bays, which were symmetrical. The central doorway is sheltered by a small Doric porch made of granite. The ground floor originally featured four 16-pane sashed windows, while the upper floor had five windows; however, the leftmost ground floor windows have been completely replaced by a long modern plate-glass shop front. The building has gable chimneys, and the rear has not been inspected. The interior has also been altered.
