Description

The head of a Cornish cross, dating from the medieval period, is located in the forecourt of The Donald Thomas Centre on Chapel Street in Camborne. This cross is made of granite and features a wheelhead type design. It has remnants of an annular cap that would have been part of its former shaft. The circular face of the cross displays a raised figure of Christ set within a circular sunk panel.
