Stables At Approximately 6M West Of Higher Whitehall

The stables and coach house, located approximately 6 meters west of Higher Whitehall, date from the early 19th century. The building features a rubble ground floor and a stuccoed first floor, topped with a hipped roof made of scantle slate and corrugated iron. The structure has a rectangular plan, with the coach house on the left (south) and a larger area for the stables on the right. It is two storeys high.

The east front is symmetrical on the right, showcasing two blind pointed-arched windows on the first floor and a central ground floor doorway with a boarded door, flanked by barred windows. To the left, there is a wide carriage entrance. At the right-hand (north) end, a central doorway is positioned to the left, accompanied by external granite steps and a painted rubble retaining wall.
