Description
This is a range of barns, possibly including a former farmhouse, located about 30 metres west of Wooda. The barns likely date from the 18th century and may incorporate earlier materials, with 19th-century additions and a few later alterations. They are constructed from slatestone and granite rubble, topped with slate roofs featuring ridge tiles and gable ends. There appears to be a truncated stack at the right gable end.
The layout consists of a two-storey range on the right, which has a stepped wall at the right end that may indicate the presence of a stack. Attached to the left is a lower two-storey range that contains a cow-house on the ground floor with a loft above. There is also a small single-storey rubble shed attached to the front right.
On the exterior, the first building features three doors at ground level, two with granite lintels and one with a timber lintel, along with a ventilation slit. The upper level has two loading doors and one small single light with a timber lintel. A row of square pigeon holes runs across the entire front. The later barn attached to the left has an asymmetrical front, with two doors and three window openings on the ground floor—three on the left with granite lintels and two on the right with timber lintels. There is a small single-storey addition from the 20th century at the front. The first floor includes two loading doors and one window. The interior is not accessible.
