Description
This is a wall dating from the 18th century, located to the northwest of the stables, approximately 20 metres north of Heligan House. The wall is made of slatestone rubble with granite dressings and encloses the stable yard. It is attached to the rear wing of the stable block and runs about 40 metres around the left side of the stable, standing approximately 1.8 metres high. Towards the front left, the wall reduces in height to about one metre and features chamfered granite coping. The front range of the wall measures about 8 metres long and has a granite ashlar pier at each end, both of which are square in plan with flat tops.
