Description

Milestone located at a road junction by Tregiskey Farmhouse, likely dating from the early 19th century. It is made of painted dressed granite and features incised lettering. The milestone is square in shape. The front face is difficult to read, while the left-hand face displays the inscription "MEV AGISSEY" above an Ordnance Survey bench mark, and the right-hand face reads "ST AUSTELL." This milestone is part of a group that includes the guide post and Tregiskey Farmhouse.
