Description

This building is a barn and cart-shed located about 30 metres east of Treguddick, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed from stone rubble with granite dressings and features a dry slate roof with gabled ends. The barn has a long rectangular shape oriented on a north-south axis and consists of two storeys.

The west elevation faces the house at Treguddick and includes a central doorway and a small window to the left, both with dressed granite lintels. To the right, there is an open-sided cart-shed with a slate lean-to roof supported by roughly-hewn monolithic granite posts. The east elevation has doorways and windows on the ground floor, also with dressed granite lintels, and a loft doorway located towards the left centre. In the north gable end, there is a small ground floor doorway and a loft doorway above, both featuring granite lintels. The interior has not been inspected.
