Description

SOUTH PETHERWIN SX28SE Barn and cart-shed about 30 1/22 metres east of Treguddick GV II Bank-barn with cart-shed. Circa mid C19. Stone rubble with granite dressings. Dry slate roof with gabled ends. Long rectangular plan on north-south axis. 2 storeys. West elevation facing house (Treguddick qv). Doorway at centre and small window to left with dressed granite lintels. Open-sided cart-shed on right with slate lean-to roof carried on roughly-hewn monolithic granite posts. East elevation has doorways and windows on ground floor with dressed granite lintels and loft doorway to left centre. In north gable end a small ground floor doorway and loft doorway above with granite lintels. Interior: not inspected.
