Description
This is a range of farm buildings located about 20 metres south-west of Trewan Hall, dating from the early 19th century with 20th-century alterations and additions. The buildings are constructed from elvan stone rubble and cob, with granite dressings and slate roofs.
The front of the building, which faces east, has been designed in a Gothic style similar to Trewan Hall. It features a shaped gable with obelisk finials and coping, a pointed arched window with a brick surround and hood mould, and Gothic glazing. The wall steps down on both sides, adorned with granite merlons. On the right side of the former barn, there are two single square recesses in the wall and a small external stair leading to a door. The upper level is made of cob. Attached to the right is the former horse engine shed, which now has a glazed roof. The wall continues about 20 metres to the south as a screen wall, complete with slate coping and granite merlons. The interior has not been inspected.
