Description

The farm buildings located approximately 50 metres west of Trewinnard Manor Farmhouse date from the mid-19th century. They consist of a waggon house and stables with a granary above, along with an adjoining former implement shed and stables. The buildings are constructed from granite rubble with granite dressings, and the original roof is made of grouted scantle slate over the two-storey section on the right, while the rest has been replaced with asbestos slate.

The layout is a long rectangular range. The original barn is on the right, featuring a wide waggon entrance near the middle, a doorway towards the left with a loading or winnowing doorway above, and additional doorways on both the left and right sides. There are two shuttered window openings located to the left and towards the right, positioned under the eaves. The left side includes a single-storey former implement shed, which originally had an open front, and a single-storey structure likely used as stables at the far left. The exterior of the former implement shed has a wide central doorway with granite monolithic jambs, along with 20th-century ledged doors and windows that include glazing bars. Some openings on the left side have been altered in the 20th century.
