Description

The granary, dated 1812, is located 40 meters to the east of Bodway Farmhouse. It features a timber frame and is hung with slate, raised on 12 granite straddle stones. The roof is galvanized with hipped ends, and the building has a rectangular shape. There are rectangular openings with timber louvres on the north, south, and east sides. A datestone is carved in a slate tablet on the east side, and there are double rubble and granite steps on the south elevation. A blockwork lean-to is present on the west side. Inside, timber posts have slots for dividing boards, and the pegged roof includes cambered collars.
