Description

Milestone located 350 metres southeast of Pipers Pool, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of granite and has a rectangular shape with a rounded top. The milestone is inscribed with 'L 5'. It relates to the Turnpike Road Act for roads leading to Launceston, which was passed in 1961.
