Description
33 and 34 Carclew Street are a pair of houses built around the 1820s, located in a terrace. They are constructed from dressed roughly coursed Killas and roughly coursed Killas rubble, topped with an asbestos slate roof and featuring brick end stacks. Each house has a double-depth plan, with a reception room at the front and a kitchen behind, along with parallel entrance halls in the center. The buildings are two stories high and have a nearly symmetrical three-window front. There are two round-headed doorways in the center, which have 20th-century doors and blind fanlights, while the original sash windows with glazing bars remain. The second window is positioned above the right-hand doorway. The interiors have not been inspected.
