Description

No. 36 Lemon Street is a small town house built around 1810. It features a front made of local freestone ashlar and has a slate roof with brick stacks at each end. The house has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys tall with a front that has two windows. At the base, there is a plinth and a round-arched doorway on the right, which contains a six-panel door and a spoked fanlight above it. The windows are late 19th or early 20th century horned four-pane sashes set under cambered arches with projecting key blocks. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
