Description
No. 39 is a small town house built in the early 19th century. It features a stuccoed front and a dry Delabole slate roof with brick end stacks. The house has a double-depth plan and is two stories tall with a basement, presenting a two-window range on the front. The round-arched doorway, located on the left, has a 20th-century top-glazed door and a spoked fanlight. The first floor has original hornless sash windows with glazing bars, while the ground floor has a later horned sash window. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest. The property includes closely spaced wrought-iron railings over stuccoed forecourt walls, with steps leading up to the doorway and down to the basement.
