This is a headstone commemorating Philip Brown, located 75 metres southeast of the Church of St Materiana in Tintagel. It dates from 1793 and is made of slate, featuring a rectangular shape. The inscription is in upper and lower case lettering with serifs, and it includes the verse: "I hope we all shall meet again At the great judgement day Hope Christ will say unto us then Come up and dwell with me."
