Description

This is a headstone located 6 metres south of the southwest corner of the nave of the Church of St Materiana in Tintagel. It dates from 1794 and commemorates Ann Avery, who died that year, and her husband Richard, who passed away in 1802. The headstone is made of slate and features rectangular shape with inscriptions in upper and lower case lettering that includes serifs, along with a verse.
