Pair of cottages in row, now 1 house. Circa early C19. Painted and rendered walls, scantle slate roof, brick chimney over cross party wall left of middle; cast iron ogee gutter. Plan probably originally of 2 single cell cottages with pair of entrance passages at middle, remodelled C20 with 3 ground floor rooms. 2 storeys. Originally symmetical 3-window east front with pair of doorways towards middle. Left-hand doorway now with 16-pane 2-light casement; right-hand doorway with circa early C20 glazed door within glazed lean-to porch of the same date. Ground floor left-hand window enlarged C20; now with 24-pane horned sash with 16-pane horned sash over. Right-hand window is C20 16-pane casement, but the other 2 first floor windows are the original 16-pane hornless sashes. Interior not inspected. Part of a group of circa late C17 early C19 houses near the head of the creek at Helford.
