Description

The lych gate, located approximately 30 meters southeast of the Church of Saint Rumon in Ruanlanihorne, is likely from the 18th century, although it has a 20th-century roof and gates. It is constructed from slatestone with granite dressings and has a rectangular shape. The side walls are made of rubble, and the entrance features side ledges capped with dressed granite. There is also a brick coffin rest topped with a granite slab. A granite cattle grid is positioned between the entrance and is accessed by three stone steps. Additionally, there is a Victorian letter-box set into the wall of the lych gate.
