Description
Trethella Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed from slatestone, featuring granite and freestone dressings, and a half-hipped slate roof with brick chimneys on the side walls, which may have been rebuilt. The building has a double depth central stair plan and stands two storeys tall. Its front is almost symmetrical with three windows. The round-headed doorway is centrally located relative to the window positions, although all are slightly grouped to the right. The door is a 20th-century glazed design with a fanlight above. The ground floor windows are wider and consist of 16-paned wooden sashes with sidelights, while the first floor also features 16-paned sashes, though the sills have been raised. The windows have cambered arches with freestone voussoirs and projecting keyblocks. There is a later 19th-century lean-to on the right side of the farmhouse. The interior has not been inspected.
