Description
This is a shop located directly opposite the Ship Inn in Lerryn, dating from the late 19th century and remaining largely unaltered. It features whitewashed brick with a glazed front and a corrugated roof with gabled ends. The building is a single-storey, asymmetrical structure. On the left side, there is a timber stable door that is set slightly back, featuring an open timber arch with a moulded pendant. To the right, there is a shop window consisting of three lights, each with four panes and heavy glazing bars, set on a brick base. Above the shop window, there are three narrow lights positioned like a frieze. The left gable end is curved, and there is an adjoining rubble garden wall on the right gable end. The shop is positioned directly on Fore Street and is included for its group value.
