Description

This is a house located 150 meters northeast of Allenbrook, likely built in the mid-18th century and partly remodeled in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and cob, with some areas rendered. The slate roof has gable ends, and there are projecting stone rubble and cob stacks with brick shafts on both the left and right gable ends.

The house has a two-room layout with a central cross passage that includes a stairway. The left-hand room serves as a hall/kitchen, heated by the gable end stack, while the right-hand room is a parlour, heated by the end stack. The building is two stories tall and features an almost symmetrical two-window front. The entrance is near the center and has a plank door from around the 19th century. There are late 19th-century two-light casements on both the ground and first floors, and an outshut extension is present on the right-hand gable end.

Inside, there are slight mid-19th-century ceiling beams, a 19th-century framed stair, a stove in the kitchen fireplace of the left-hand room, and a 19th-century cast-iron grate in the fireplace of the right-hand room. The roof structure is also from the 19th century.
