Description
This is an early 18th-century chest tomb located about 30 metres south-west of the tower of the Church of St Clarus in St Cleer. It is constructed from greenstone rubble and features a granite monolith lid. The chest itself is plain, while the granite lid has a moulded edge. An inscription is carved on the lid, but the dedication is illegible. The tomb is dated 1708.
