Description

This chest tomb, dated 1754, is located 2 metres east of St Clement Church. It is made of granite and slate and has an articulated rectangular shape. The tomb features a plinth and rusticated clasping corners, with the lid broken out at the corners. The top consists of an incised inset slate slab that has shouldered half round arches at the ends and angels depicted in the spandrels.
