Description
Rose Cottage is an 18th-century cottage that has been limewashed and is constructed of cob with a stone footing. It features an asbestos slate roof, which was previously thatched, and has brick chimneys located over external breasts at the gable ends. The cottage has a two-room plan and stands two storeys high, with two windows on the front. There is a central entrance that includes a planked door and 12-pane, two-light casements with L hinges and pintails, all topped with timber lintels. A central stair window is located on the first floor at the rear, and there is a flat-roofed, single-storey extension from the 20th century. The interior has not been inspected.
