Description

This is an 18th-century chest tomb located about 10 metres south of the south aisle of the Church of St Clarus in St Cleer. It is constructed from granite ashlar and does not have a plinth. The tomb features a heavy moulded lid that has an inset for a slate tablet, although the original tablet is missing. Instead, there is a 19th-century tablet dedicated to Jane Kelly laid on top of the tomb.
