Description

This mid-19th century farm building stands 10 metres to the east of Frogwell Farmhouse. It is a simple structure, originally comprising an open pen, likely used as a calf pen. The building is constructed of rubble stone with large blocks of granite, and has an asbestos slate roof with gable ends. It is rectangular in plan and single-storey in height. The west front features four square feeding holes, each with a timber door and lintel. The east front originally had four doors, though the fourth has since been blocked. Low brick partitions are present, and may be later or have replaced earlier divisions. The roof structure includes pegged rafters.
