Description

Two headstones located 10 meters south of the Church of St Stephen in Launceston date from the 18th century. One is for Francis Giles, who died in 1729 at the age of 69, and the other is for Anne, the wife of Thomas Kingdom, who died in 1767 at the age of 30. Both headstones are made of incised slate and feature shaped heads.
