Description
This is an 18th-century village house located at the end of a row in Duke Street, St Stephen. The house is built with a render finish over rubble or rubble and cob, and has a steep rag slate roof with a hip on the left side. It features rendered end stacks. The layout is of shallow depth. The front facade is slightly asymmetrical with three windows across two storeys. The windows are 20th-century twelve-pane, two-light casements. Segmental arches are above the ground-floor windows, and the central entrance has an early 19th-century six-panel door, the top two panels being later glazed. The interior was not inspected.
