Description

No. 48 on St Stephen's Hill is a toll house that has been converted into a house, dating from the early 19th century. It features a textured finish on stucco or render and has a polygonal rag slate roof with a rendered stack on the right side. The building has a small plan with a canted front and stands two storeys tall, displaying a three-window front. There is a blind central window situated above a planked door, and the canted bays feature 20th-century transomed two-light windows. The interior has not been inspected.
