ROCHE SX 05 NW 6/209 - Kiln chimney at SX 004595 II

Kiln chimney from a china clay works. Late C19. Granite rubble and brick. Circular plan chimney, tapered. The lower stage of the chimney is in granite rubble with cast iron banding; upper stage in brick with a plain cornice of 3 stepped courses of bricks. Formerly had a rectangular building at the base.
