Description
Lantern Cottage is a house that likely dates from the 18th century. It features rendered rubble and cob walls, topped with a steep thatched roof and brick chimneys at the gable ends, including a large external stack on the left side. The building has a two-room layout, probably with a lobby entrance between the rooms, and may have been extended at the rear, although this was not inspected. The exterior is two storeys high and has a slightly irregular three-window east front with an approximately central doorway. The door and the two-light casement windows are from the 20th century. The interior has not been inspected.
