Description
The Fragment is a former Wesleyan meeting house that has been converted into a private house. It dates from the early to mid-19th century and is constructed of killas rubble with brick arches above the openings. The roof is hipped and covered with scantle slate. The building has a nearly square plan and was originally a single room, though it was extended at the rear in the 20th century. The exterior is single storey with a two-window front facing the east road, featuring shallow segmental brick arches over the openings. It possibly retains original 12-pane horned sash windows, with one window on each side wall. The interior has not been inspected.
