Farmhouse, now house; with attached front garden wall and outhouse. Circa mid C17, with addition of later C17. C19 and C20 alterations. Slatestone rubble. Slate roof with crested ridge tiles and gable ends. Gable end stack to right with rendered shaft. Rear lateral stack to left with rubble shaft and stack at the left side of the front wing with rubble shaft. Plan: 2-room and cross passage plan. The hall is to left, heated from a rear lateral stack and the parlour to right, heated from a gable end stack. Later in the C17, a front wing of one-room plan was added in front of the hall, heated from a stack at the left side. There is a C19 lean-to at the right end. The house forms an overall L-plan, which is enclosed by the front garden wall, in stone rubble, with a wooden paling fence; at the right end there is a small single storey outhouse, which is attached to the right end of the house. Exterior: 2 storeys, an asymmetrical 2-window front with the gable end of the front wing to left. The main range has C19 4-panelled door to left with C20 slate hood. At ground floor to right a late C19 8-pane sash with timber lintel. At first floor two C19 12-pane sashes. The front wing is 2-storey; the inner side has C19 16-pane sash and C20 half-glazed door at ground floor, C20 2-light 10-pane casement at first floor to right. The front gable end has 16-pane sash at ground floor and 12-pane sash at first floor. The front wall is in stone rubble with rendered coping; C20 wooden gate to left and wooden paling fence along the top. The outhouse attached to right is single-storey with a monopitch slate roof and C20 12-pane window and plank door; there is a rubble gateway between the house and the outhouse. The right end of the house has small single storey lean-to with two C20 doors and one C20 casement. The left end has large external stepped stack to right; to left a 16-pane sash at ground floor and 12-pane sash at first floor. At the rear there is a C20 French window to left, with C20 12-pane sash above. C20 18-pane sash lighting the stair. At first floor to right a C20 12-pane sash and external stack. Interior: Not inspected.
