Description

The headstone of Sarah and Catherine Moyle, dating from 1717, is located 14 metres to the north of the northeast corner of the chancel of the Church of St. Menefreda in St Minver Highlands. This headstone commemorates Sarah, the daughter of Richard Moyle of Moyles, and Catherine, his wife. It is made of slate and features a rectangular shape with incised lines around the edge that form a frame. The headstone displays fine quality upper and lower case lettering with serifs.
