Description
This is a chimney located approximately 20 metres north of the stamps engine house at West Basset Stamps, built in 1874. It is constructed from coursed granite rubble with some brick. The chimney has a tapered cylindrical shape and lacks a cornice at the stone stage, with most of the brick upper stage missing. It is an important functional and visual feature of the surrounding group of buildings, although it is now derelict.
