Description
This calciner chimney, located approximately 40 metres north-west of the calciner at West Basset Stamps, was likely built in 1898. It is constructed from coursed granite rubble and brick, featuring a tapered cylindrical shape. The chimney is complete and includes an arched entry for the flue at its base, as well as a cornice at the brick stage. It serves as both a functional and visual component of a group that is likely unique in Cornwall.
