Description

CARN BREA CARNKIE SW 64 SE 5/140 Calciner chimney approx. 40 metres north-west of calciner at West Basset Stamps GV II Calciner chimney. Probably 1898. Coursed granite rubble and brick. Tapered cylindrical form, complete, with arched entry for flue at base and cornice to brick stage. Functionally and visually an integral element of a group which is probably now unique in Cornwall.
