Description
This building is a barn located to the north-west of East Mornick Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from stone rubble and features a cement-washed scantle slate roof with gable ends.
On the north-west elevation, the barn is a single storey with central double plank doors that are sheltered by a slate hood supported on brackets. The south-east elevation has two storeys, with a central opening on the ground floor and an additional opening to the right that contains a plank door. There is a small narrow slit opening between these two features, which has a reset round granite arch above it. Access to the central double stable doors, which also have a slate hood, is gained by ascending eleven steps. To the right of these doors, there is another slit opening.
