Description
A house dating to circa 1800, with alterations to the windows in the 19th and 20th centuries. The house is constructed of rubble, with a stucco front that is lined out, and has a slate roof with a brick gable end stack on the left. It follows a double-depth plan, featuring a central entrance leading to an internal porch and passage. The principal rooms are located to the front right and left, with the staircase situated in the room to the rear left.
The house is three storeys high with a two-window frontage. The ground and first floors feature four-pane sash windows set in plain raised surrounds. A 20th-century door provides access. Two small four-pane sashes are located on the second floor, and a molded cornice runs along the top.
Inside, a dog-leg staircase has alternating stick and turned balusters and a molded handrail. A panelled cupboard is located under the stairs on the ground floor. The front room on the right at ground floor contains a pair of cupboards on the rear wall, featuring shaped shelves and round heads, with fielded panelled doors below. The second floor has two-panelled doors.
