Description

The Anchorage is a house built around 1840, with later alterations. It features a rubble construction, is rendered, and has asbestos slate hanging above the ground floor level, topped with a slate roof. The layout includes an entrance on the right side, with one room to the left front and a staircase at the rear right, following a double depth plan. The building has three storeys, with one window on the ground and first floors, and two windows on the second floor. The ground and first floors have 16-pane sash windows, while the second floor has 20th-century windows. To the right of the entrance, there is a three-panelled door with an overlight and a cornice on consoles leading to a passage, and there is a 20th-century door to the left. The interior has not been inspected.
