MICHAELSTOW FENTONDALE SX 07 NE 6/112 Holy well and stile 140 metres to - south of Inner Fentondale 17.12.62 II

Holy well and stile. Holy well named in 1613. Existing structure probably C19. Granite. Although considerably overgrown at time of inspection (1986), the well appears to be on the site of a spring with a stone trough and several pieces of roughly moulded granite built into the hedge.
