Description

Gam Bridge is a road bridge that spans the Rivers Allan and Camel, built in the mid-19th century. It was rebuilt following a flood in 1847 that swept away the old bridge, which had been named in 1613. The structure is made of stone rubble and granite, featuring seven spans with unmoulded granite lintels and crude cutwaters. The bridge has a stone rubble parapet topped with unmoulded granite coping.
