Description
The shaft located to the south of the south porch of the Church of St Brueredus is a granite monolith, likely dating from the late Medieval period. It has a square plan and features chamfered edges, standing over a metre tall. This shaft may be a remnant of window tracery from the Church of St Brueredus, which was removed during the restoration work carried out by J.P. St Aubyn between 1863 and 1864.
