Description
Trevean is a farm cottage dating from the early 19th century. It is built of stone rubble with granite dressings and features a rag slate roof with gable ends and brick end stacks. The cottage has a double depth plan with a central entrance and two reception rooms located to the front right and left, which are heated by end stacks. There are likely originally two small service rooms at the rear. A mid-19th century outshot extension is present on the right-hand gable end.
The exterior is two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-window front with granite lintels above the ground floor openings. The central door, which is from the 20th century, is flanked by two 16-pane sash windows from the 19th century. On the first floor, there are three 12-pane sash windows. The lean-to outshot extension on the right-hand gable end is made of stone rubble and has a slate roof. The interior has not been inspected.
