Description

This is a 19th-century milestone made of painted granite. It stands about one metre high and has a triangular shape with a broached base and a triangular top that features a benchmark. The milestone has carved and painted lettering in sans-serif upper case, indicating distances to Newquay (5 miles) and St Columb (2¼ miles).
