Description

Tolcarne Cross is a late 19th-century granite cross located on Edgcumbe Avenue in Newquay. It features a stepped octagonal plinth supporting a monolith wheelhead cross. The cross has raised edges and zig-zag carvings on its sides, along with a raised carved Latin cross on the head. A memorial tablet on the plinth bears the inscription: "Restored by Sir Robert Edgcumbe."
