Description

The Treloar headstone, located approximately 15 metres south of the porch of the Church of Saint Gwendron, is an early 19th-century headstone that likely marks a chest tomb from the 18th century. It commemorates John Treloar, who died in 1810 at the age of 67, and his wife Grace, who passed away in 1786 at the age of 42. The headstone also remembers their sons John and Bennet, who died in infancy, and Joseph, who died on 1st October 1788 at the age of 19. The tomb is covered by an earth bank.
